Jazz Genius is a tribute to jazz improvisation. If you go to a classical music concert, chances are the musicians will play the music exactly to way it was written on the sheet music. If you go to a jazz concert, the performers will improvise. They might make key changes, they might play harder or softer, faster or slower. They may even throw in a few notes from another song. This is often done on the fly and I believe this is a form of genius. Hence the name, Jazz Genius.
