Sam Furlonger Quartet [UK] – Sinatra & Swing

London-based jazz vocalist Sam Furlonger belongs to a new generation of singers deeply rooted in the classic American swing tradition. With a warm, effortless voice and a natural feel for the music of Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole, he brings the elegance, rhythm and storytelling of the great jazz vocalists into the present.

For this special Saturday night at Jazzkeller Frankfurt, Furlonger joins a first-class rhythm section for an evening of songs associated with Frank Sinatra, Rat Pack favourites and timeless standards from the Great American Songbook. Expect swinging tempos, late-night ballads and the unmistakable atmosphere of classic vocal jazz — intimate, stylish and alive.

Furlonger has already made a name for himself in London with sold-out performances at venues including PizzaExpress Live and Crazy Coqs. His recently released debut album Get Out and Get Under the Moon introduces a singer with a clear love for the tradition and a sound entirely his own.
