Arman Peshtmaljyan Quintet

A richly colored five-piece lineup brings classic jazz repertoire to life with fresh energy and a strong sense of interplay. With piano, trumpet, alto saxophone, double bass and drums, the band has all the colors of a small modern jazz orchestra — warm, punchy and close to the audience.

Expect well-known standards, lyrical ballads, swinging grooves and plenty of room for spontaneous improvisation. The focus is on communication between the musicians and on the kind of relaxed, vibrant atmosphere that makes a Thursday night at the Jazzkeller feel special.
