Yves Brouqui Quartet – Paris Meets New York

French guitarist Yves Brouqui brings the elegance of Parisian jazz together with the energy of New York’s legendary clubs. Inspired by Grant Green and Wes Montgomery, his music is melodic, soulful and driven by irresistible swing.

After eight formative years in New York—playing alongside musicians such as Grant Stewart, Peter Bernstein and Joe Magnarelli—Brouqui became a distinctive voice on the European jazz scene.

For this special weekend, he is joined by an outstanding international quartet featuring Julian Schmidt, sought-after bassist Ignasi González, and rising European drummer Xaver Hellmeier.

Expect sophisticated jazz with warmth, groove and plenty of fire.
