Trumpeter and flugelhorn player Heiko Hubmann leads a quartet with a relaxed, melodic sound and plenty of bite. Hubtones move freely between swing, bebop, fusion and modern jazz, balancing finely detailed arrangements with the spontaneity and playfulness that make a great club set come alive.
