TTPOA (Region 7)- American Gas Gun- Rapid Precision
AMERICAN GAS GUN-RAPID PRECISION
THIS SHOULD NOT BE YOUR FIRST RIFLE COURSE
THIS COURSE IS NOT FOR BEGINNER OR NOVICE SHOOTERS
Cost: $625
Rapid Precision is a high accountability rifle course designed to help law enforcement officers and responsibly armed citizens fully realize the performance capabilities of their red dot, or red dot/magnifier equipped AR-15 carbines. This course builds the technical skill and control necessary to deliver rapid, high precision shots under pressure, and also how to deliver maximum performance while maintaining accountability. Students will learn how to train to increase performance while standing unsupported and also from three dimensional, practical barricades. Blending principles from precision and scoped rifle disciplines into a red dot context, this class breaks the outdated idea that precision is only for long range engagements. This curriculum seeks to bridge the gap between traditional precision rifle concepts and the realities of patrol or defensive rifle use. Students will learn what is required to extract maximum accuracy and performance from their setup on demand, under time, and in context.
Precision is a standard, not a distance.
This program is built specifically for red dot optics used in conjunction with magnifiers, or red dot only setups. Students running LPVOs (1-6, 1-8, 1-10 scopes) may attend, but should understand that this is not a scoped rifle course. We will not intentionally set aside time to cover LPVO specific setup or operation, and students must be able to manage any optic issues independently. Class will not pause for individual equipment troubleshooting.
Core Concepts:
• Precision is not tied to a specific distance. Rather, it’s a standard that a shooter should strive to meet at any range.
• Speed without control increases liability; accuracy without speed risks irrelevance.
• The rifle’s true capability is often limited more by the shooter than the gear.
• Performance and Precision can coexist. Maximum output alongside perfect or near perfect shots.
Course Objectives:
• Develop-through exploration and experience-the ability to deliver high confidence shots at practical, and potentially extended distances, at maximum pace, using red dot optics.
• Blend precision rifle principles (natural point of aim, body mechanics, recoil management, and fitting the rifle to the shooter) into a red dot context.
• Understand and test the capabilities, and limitations, of your rifle/optic system.
• Build a decision making framework based on real data and performance, not assumptions or gear bias.
• Reinforce that the rifle is capable of a wide envelope of performance if we can simply learn how to extract it.
In this course, everything is measurable, repeatable, and performance-driven. Students will leave with a clear understanding of their rifle’s true capability, and how to apply that capability with control and precision in any practical application.
Rapid Precision is not about distance shots-it’s about the right shots.
This course is ideal for anyone experienced shooter who wants to increase capability with Americas gas gun. Patrol officers, SWAT members, and firearms instructors looking to raise the standard of rifle performance within their agency, and also high commitment, responsibly armed citizens looking to maximize their capability in any context.
