Community Iftaar, Legal Advice & Earned Settlement Q&A

We warmly welcome you to join our Community Iftaar, Legal Advice & Earned Settlement Q&A on Friday 13 March from 4.20pm-8pm in London, Angel, EC1. (The exact location will be sent to you once you register.) Tickets are free, please click on the registration button to get your ticket.

Alongside Iftaar, there will be an immigration advice clinic starting from 4.30pm with JCWI lawyers available to give general immigration advice to individuals. Spaces are limited and you’ll need to register for a 'Free Ticket & Legal Advice' option below to join the queue. If demand is high, we may have to implement a waiting list and may not be able to see everyone. We will inform you if this is the case.

People from all faith and backgrounds are welcome. We know the government’s racist proposals have caused grief and anxiety and we want to create a space to come together and build community and solidarity through frontline support and connection.

The iftaar is co-hosted by JCWI and Migrants' Rights Network.

Format

4.20pm: Doors open 

4.30pm: Immigration advice sessions begin

6pm-6.45: Iftaar & Maghrib prayer  

7pm Earned Settlement Explainer & Q&A; immigration advice sessions continue

8pm Event ends.

London, Holborn, WC1 (Within 10 minutes walk of Holborn underground station)

Accessibility

The venue is wheelchair accessible and will have a dedicated prayer space.

Please note that due to this event being run on a small budget, we are unable to meet special dietary or allergen requirements. Food options available include:
