BEETHOVEN AND BRAHMS!
Violinist Andrew Giordano returns to Colorado as a featured soloist with JSO performing Brahms Violin Concerto. He is currently a member of the BEO quartet in Pittsburgh. Giordano studied with the Takacs quartet at CU Boulder. He and his wife Nathalia Kato perform contemporary works as Duo Pragma.
JSO begins its 73rd season with the most well known symphony--Bethoven's Fifth Symphony. Opening the program is Festive Overture by Shostakovich

Dr. Gonzalez will be doing a pre-concert talk from 2:15-2:30 p.m. in Metals hall on Sunday, just prior to the concert. All are welcome to attend!
