Jerrold Wiebe is passionate about making mathematics, mathematical thinking and problem solving accessible for all. In his 4 decades of classroom and consulting experience he has taught grades 5 through 10, and been a district and international consultant for early, middle and senior years mathematics. Jerrold believes strongly in developing within the students a deep and rich understanding. His goal is to help create fluid and flexible thinkers who can successfully navigate multimodal representation. He is a strong advocate for Thinking Classrooms and has worked with Peter Liljedahl since 2017. Jerrold has worked with hundreds of teachers across Canada and abroad, helping them implement the 14 practices of the BTC framework.
