Team Registration closes Monday 6th October.

Games will be played at Beaulieu School on Wednesday evenings between 6pm and 9pm.

Player registration is separate. each player must register individually. Player registration closes on Friday 10th October.

Fixtures will be released on Friday 10th October.

How to enter to play in Division 2

Here is our new process for preparing a team for entry into the league:

Team leaders / captains will need to indicate that they intend to enter a team into division 2 using this (free) ticket.

Players will then register themselves individually through the following process:

1. All players will need to be members and have purchased a membership for the 2025/26 season here (no one will be allowed on court without membership)

2. Please then complete your purchase of your Division 2 player registration ticket. You will be asked for the team you intend to play with. Player registration closes on Friday 10th October. The deadline for any new registrations after the season starts is Friday 12th December.

3. If you have not yet committed to a team you will be asked to indicate this and you will be allocated to a team before the start of the season.

Additional points

We have added an 'Off-Island Player' Ticket option. This is for players who do not live in Jersey (perhaps away at uni) but who wish to play whenever they are in the island. Players with this ticket will be added to a team.

Team captains should not include under 16s players in their teams without agreement from the Under 16s Coach and JBBA.

Players are allowed to play in more than one division. However, players who are hoping to join the mens Island Team must only play in Division 1.

We are implementing a maximum team size of 12 to encourage the creation of new teams.

Key requirements for entering a team into the Winter league

All players must be registered with the JBBA as a member. Team captains are responsible for ensuring that all their players are registered as members before the season commences, No player who is not a registered member may play in any game.

All members, players, coaches, officials and other personnel participating in JBBA operations are expected to follow the JBBA Code of Conduct.

Team captains are responsible for all communications between the league managers/JBBA and their team.

Referees will be provided by the JBBA. Table officiating duties will be allocated by the JBBA and team captains will be responsible for ensuring that table duties are fulfilled. Failure to provide table officials may result in league points being deducted or games forfeited.

Fixtures schedule and officiating duties of teams will be circulated prior to the start of the season by the Committee and league managers. Typically the teams will have a period of 1 week following the release of the schedule to suggest changes or corrections. After that, the fixtures schedule and officiating duties will be observed. In the occasions where games cannot be played, they will be rescheduled.

If a team does not have enough players for a game, this will result in a forfeit and there will be no rescheduling.

Teams may also be required to provide match reports following their games, and such duties will be set at the beginning of the season by the Committee.

Players may be allowed to be transferred to a different team in the same division after seeking the approval of the JBBA before Monday 2nd February. There will be no transfers allowed after this cutt-off.

During the season, teams can sign up players (either new players or by transfer from another team), until the player transfer deadline date is reached. This date will be announced by division managers at start of season (typically at around the 60-70% mark of games played in the regular season).
