2026 Funk n' Sour Fest

FUNK N' SOUR FEST IS BACK OCTOBER 22ND!

Funk n' Sour Fest returns this fall for our favorite night of the year for food and drink in Central Texas. We're honored to be joined by 40 (and counting) of the best restaurants, breweries, wineries, and distilleries from across our region. As always, each restaurant will collaborate with a beverage producer to create two special, one-night-only food-and-drink pairings. We hope you'll join us under the stars at Jester King for an evening celebrating the creativity, collaboration, and incredible culinary and beverage talent of Central Texas.

WHAT DOES MY TICKET INCLUDE?
Each ticket includes all Funk n’ Sour food-and-beverage pairings, a welcome pour, and commemorative Funk n’ Sour 2026 glassware. There is no need to purchase individual food or drink tickets once you’re inside.

IS FUNK N’ SOUR ALL AGES?
Yes. Funk n’ Sour is an all-ages event. Guests must be 21 or older and present a valid government-issued photo ID to consume alcohol.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE?
Yes. We have plenty of free parking available at Jester King.

SHOULD I DRIVE OR USE A RIDESHARE?
While free parking is available, we strongly encourage guests who plan to drink to use Uber, Lyft, or another rideshare service and enjoy the evening responsibly.

WILL THERE BE NON-ALCOHOLIC OPTIONS?
Yes. Water and non-alcoholic beverages will be available throughout the event.

DO I NEED TO BRING AN ID?
If you plan to drink alcohol, yes. Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID. Guests under 21 will not be served alcohol.

DO I NEED TO PAY FOR FOOD OR DRINK ONCE I’M THERE?
No. All Funk n’ Sour pairings are included with admission.

WILL REGULAR JESTER KING FOOD AND DRINK ALSO BE AVAILABLE?
No. Our normal Jester King experience will be closed for Funk n' Sour Fest.

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS OR FOOD ALLERGIES?
Participating chefs will be serving a wide variety of dishes, but because Funk n’ Sour involves dozens of independent producers and a large number of ingredients, we cannot guarantee accommodations for specific dietary restrictions or food allergies. Guests with allergies should speak directly with the participating restaurant before sampling a dish.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
Funk n’ Sour is a rain-or-shine event. In the event of rain, the event will be moved under the cover of our pole barn. In the event of severe weather that affects our ability to safely hold the event, we’ll communicate directly with ticket holders.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Funk n’ Sour takes place throughout Jester King’s Hill Country property, including outdoor and unpaved areas. Comfortable shoes are strongly recommended.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Please do not bring pets for Funk n’ Sour. Service animals are excepted.

CAN I LEAVE AND RE-ENTER?
Yes. Please keep your event wristband on for re-entry.

ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE?
Tickets are nonrefundable, but you may transfer your ticket to another guest if you’re unable to attend.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Doors open at 6pm. Pairings will be available beginning at 7pm. The event ends at 10pm. We recommend arriving near the beginning of the event so you have plenty of time to experience all of the pairings.
