*Club Memberships for 2025/26 Club year now available! All 2025/26 paid memberships by 1 September will be entered into a raffle at the 16 September Coffee and Culture Morning*  Clubs for the upcoming year will be updated as we start back up in September.

The International Club is open to all local NATO ID holders and spouses. We meet monthly for Coffee and Culture mornings to share national culture, food, and friendship. Member volunteers also run activity clubs, organize trips and workshops, and host charity events.

The club runs parallel to the school calendar (Sept-June), and new members are welcomed at any time. Consider joining the club and meeting new friends!

Membership Information:

Memberships are available for purchase on this website ("Buy Membership/Clubs" is located above on the banner). Membership gives you a discount on events that JFCBIC sponsors, as well as priority access to tickets for our Coffee and Culture Mornings. Membership also gives you full access to join the various clubs that JFCBIC sponsors, at no additional fee. Members will receive our monthly emailed newsletter with upcoming events, and are added to our private members-only Facebook group.

Non-members may attend CCM’s, trips and workshops at the General Admission rate, but are not able to join the clubs without becoming a member.

We have two types of Memberships: Full Memberships, and Associate Memberships. The cost and benefits are the same for both, however only Full Members are eligible to hold a JFCBIC Board Position, or be a Delegate.

Half-Year Memberships at a reduced rate are available starting 1 February.

JFCBIC Full Membership (Current valid NATO ID holder): Any military person or civilian employee, partner/spouse, or adult dependent (18-26 years old) that is currently assigned to a base command in the tri-border area or AFNORTH is eligible. Full Members are allowed to hold a JFCBIC Board Position, or be a Delegate.

JFCBIC Associate Membership (Former NATO ID holder): A military person or civilian employee, partner/spouse, or adult dependent that was previously assigned to a base command in the tri-border area or AFNORTH, but is no longer assigned or employed by that command, but still lives in the tri-border area is eligible. Associate Members are not allowed to hold a JFCBIC Board Position, or be a Delegate.

Clubs Information:

JFCBIC hosts various free volunteer-led clubs which are only open to JFCBIC members. Club leaders will post upcoming club events, and sometimes photo recaps, on our private members-only Facebook page. If you are interested in attending a club event, please RSVP to the FB event so that the club leader knows to expect you. If you decide that you want to be notified of all events for a particular club, please join the club in the “Membership/Club signup”. Club leaders may choose to also communicate via email or WhatsApp groups, and you would be added to that distribution if you sign up for the club.

Communications:

All of our individual communications are done via email. Your event tickets will be emailed to you once purchased, and the emailed code will be scanned at the door of the event for entry. If you sign up for a membership or club, you will receive an automated membership code, you do not need to worry about keeping track of that. If there are any updates or changes to an event (non-club related), you will only be notified via email. We do not sell or share your personal data (name, phone #'s, email), so the only time you will ever get an email from us will be information pertinent to your upcoming event, or our newsletter...please read these emails!

First Responders:

For events held at the ICC, or on base, we are required to have our own First Responders. If you are a First Responder, and willing to provide assistance in an emergency where you are present, please consider signing up for a First Responder admission ticket. We all appreciate your willingness to help our community in this way!

Payment Policies and Information:

Payments - At this time, events and memberships can be paid with IBAN Bank Transfer when you sign up, or in Euros or with the PIN Card reader at the end of our CCM's from 1200-1230, or with Euro only after Board Meetings at the ICC from 1100-1130 hrs. Payment is expected promptly after ticket signup. Clients are responsible for paying for the tickets that they reserve.

CCM Raffle tickets are 3 for 5 Euros at our Coffee and Culture Mornings, and are only available for cash purchase at the event. They cannot be paid for in advance, or by IBAN transfer, or PIN Card.

Refunds - Refunds for events can be requested in writing to events.jfcbic@gmail.com. The refund period for CCM's stops at Noon on the Thursday prior to the CCM. The refund period for Trips and Workshops will be stated in the event description. There will be no refunds after the stated deadline. Please allow up to 5 business days for the refund to be processed. JFCBIC Memberships are not refundable.

Waitlist - If we have sold out an event, we will often have a waitlist during our refund period. You can sign up to join in the event portal. During our refund period, if tickets become available, we will email everyone on the waitlist a notification of availability, and the first person to buy the ticket, gets it. If it remains unsold after 24 hours, it will be put up for general sale. At the end of our refund period we will no longer keep or maintain a waitlist, as we will no longer be refunding/selling tickets.

Private Resell/Gifting tickets - If you purchased a ticket and find that you can no longer attend after the refund period has ended, you may choose to privately resell or gift your ticket to another member of our community. This can be advertised on our Facebook page etc. Payment will be worked out privately between the seller and the buyer. Once you have come to a sales agreement, the seller needs to send us an email at events.jfcbic@gmail.com notifying us of the name & email address of the new ticket holder, we will then change the name on the ticket to the new person & email them the ticket. No tickets will be reissued to the new client until an email from the seller has been received to our email account.

Trips - If you have purchased a ticket for a trip with us, please bring your passport or other appropriate identification if we will be crossing country borders. Kindly be on time for bus pickup & return meeting times. Busses will leave at the scheduled time, and we cannot hold the bus for you. If you are not present, we will attempt to reach you via the phone number you provided - but alternate return travel & accommodations will be the clients responsibility if they miss the scheduled departure, or are denied boarding . Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully for all restrictions.

Cancellations - If for some reason you can no longer attend an event that you have a ticket for, please email us at events.jfcbic@gmail.com so that we know not to expect you.

Cash Payment Tickets - No Show - If you have elected to pay cash at the door for an event, please be aware that you are still responsible for payment, even if you do not attend.
