Hello and welcome!
My name is Jaysen Waller. I am a meditation teacher trained and certified by The Open Heart Project, Tibet House US, and Dharma Moon.
Self-Care Sunday is a 1 Hour Group Meditation Class offering the practices Mindfulness Awareness & Lovingkindness Meditation. Open to all levels.
There will be a short welcome, introduction to the practices, instruction for Mindfulness Awareness with a practice period, followed by guided Lovingkindness Meditation practice.
If sitting on the floor, please have a cushion, pillow, or folded towel/blanket to sit on for proper support. A meditation bench for kneeling or an upright sitting chair are also appropriate. Additionally, you may want to have some water (or tea, or other beverage, etc.) nearby if needed during the class.
Class is online via Zoom. Please have mics muted during class. Video is optional. This class WILL NOT be recorded. You can utilize the hand raising function during question/answer period at end, if you wish to participate and can unmute at that time.
