JOANNA EDEN QUARTET at Joanna's Place

Eden's enigmatic, heart-warming original compositions will be combined with those of her heroes Joni Mitchell, Stephen Sondheim and Burt Bacharach.

Joining Joanna will be two leading lights of Latin jazz, Andrés Lafone and Guillermo Hill, backed up by the intoxicating rhythms of drummer George Double.

Still high from her recent Proms duet with superstar Sam Smith at the Royal Albert Hall, Joanna is celebrating a year of music and togetherness; the spellbinding duet with Smith was soon followed by a wedding to Uruguayan bass player and co-writer Andrés Lafone. Expect heart, soul and groove!

The late Dame Cleo Laine described Joanna's voice as 'bloody marvellous', Jamie Cullum calls her ‘Brilliant’ and Sam Smith cites her as the reason for their career, saying ‘she inspired me to start writing’.
