Don't Talk About Politics

Tue 12 May 2026 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Norwich Quaker Meeting House, NR2 1EW

Join us for an evening of discussion about Dr Sarah Stein Lubrano's new book Don't Talk About Politics. Helen Baczkowska will chair a discussion with Sarah about her book and what it can tell us about organising, political communication and the threat of fascism. There will be lots of time for questions and discussion afterwards with some time for specific focus on how we can organise locally  in our communities to rebuild a strong sense of home and a better life for us all.

It will be a unique evening combining an opportunity to hear about how scientific research can help us be better organisers and communicators and how this can be applied in our local communities.

Dr Sarah Stein Lubrano is a social theorist, mutual aid and cooperative organiser, and broadcaster. Along with Dr Max Haiven she curates the platform  https://senseandsolidarity.org/ which brings together people who want to change the world to learn about ideology, strategy and the radical imagination
