In this webinar from The McGahern Barracks Museum, Cootehall, Co. Roscommon, Tom Inglis will talk with Pat Collins about people and place in McGahernland particularly in relation to Collins’ recent much acclaimed film.
As well as They May Face the Rising Sun, Collins directed A Private World (2005) the RTE documentary on McGahern. Along with many other films, he directed Silence (2012)about trying to escape noise in the countryside and Henry Glassie: Field Work (2019) about the work of the American anthropologist.
