Managing volunteers (2 days) - Wed 4 Sept and Wed 11 Sept

A two day course exploring topics around managing volunteers, 9.30am to 4.00pm each day.

Content  includes:  Why involve volunteers, writing role descriptions, recruiting & selecting volunteers, application processes, agreements, differences between volunteers and staff. Retaining, rewarding, supervising and supporting volunteers.

There'll be opportunities to:

• reflect on what you do, and why

• share your experience, challenges and successes

• work together on adverts, scenarios, problems

• discuss and explore topics (sometimes there isn’t one right answer!) 

Refreshments are available to purchase from our cafe.
