Keeping people safe – an introduction to Safeguarding
Need help?
This training aims to give staff & volunteers an understanding of how adults may be at risk of harm and covers good safeguarding practices, how to recognise signs of different kinds of abuse, what to report, who to report to. This includes the Mental Capacity Act and other relevant legislation, your duties and responsibilities. £15
The course is an important preparation for managers going on to our ‘Policy into action – advanced Safeguarding’ course, available in the afternoon (please book separately). Both courses are delivered by Karen Frostick, CEO of John Storer Charnwood, trained by the Leicestershire Social Care Development Group and with many years experience in this field.
