Policy into action – advanced Safeguarding

This is a session of 90 minutes for up to 3 attendees from one organisation. We will look in depth at what your organisation needs in a safeguarding policy. Updating or creating a policy that is focussed and relevant, considering the kinds of clients you have and the services you provide, as well as your processes and addressing any concerns you have.

It aims to support you in creating a safeguarding culture in your organisation, to embed the principles of good practice and give you confidence in dealing with concerns, incidents and false alarms. £50 for up to 3 attendees from one organisation.

It’s important to have a good understanding of safeguarding prior to attending this course, you may wish to attend our ‘Keeping people safe – an introduction to Safeguarding’ course in the morning.

These sessions are delivered by Karen Frostick, CEO of John Storer Charnwood, trained by the Leicestershire Social Care Development Group and with many years experience in this field.
