Joint Meeting of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists 2026

Effective July 3: Registration and the meeting planning office are now closed for the holiday, as well as final preparations and travel to the meeting. If you need to register on-site, or if you have other questions for us, please stop by the conference registration desk, located at “Napoleon Registration” on the third floor of the Sheraton New Orleans. Email responses may be delayed during this time.

We will be open the following hours:

Wednesday: 2-5pm

Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm

Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Saturday: 8:00am – 3:00pm

The Joint Meeting of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists is an annual meeting held to conduct society business, to hold scientific sessions for oral presentations, posters and symposia, to present achievement and service awards, to select and present best student papers, and to provide opportunities for members to meet and socialize. The annual meetings allow members to keep up-to-date about each other's work, and provides a venue at which students may interact with the professional scientific community of ichthyologists and herpetologists.
