Peacemaking in Polarized Times

Jesus said "Blessed are the peacemakers," but peace making is not for the faint of heart. Peace in Hebrew is shalom, not the absence of war, conflict, stress or anxiety. Shalom is wholeness, completeness, fulfillment, inner rest, living without deficiency or lack.

Division and polarization are not new realities in the world or our communities. Yet too often we settle for peace keeping, avoiding difficult decisions and challenging situations in our leadership and personal lives or we settle for a pseudo peace, with conflict bubbling just beneath the surface.

The role of peacemaker is active and intentional; where we choose to pray for the Spirit's empowerment and take action, choosing to develop new skills and utilize effective tools for the world we live in. We need effective peacemakers in every corner of society today.

Join us for our Pre-Intensive that equips leaders with principles and practices to be Jesus-centered peacemakers that step toward conflict with curiosity, humility and self-sacrificial love.
