Two weeks before Season 2 is available on TELUS Optik TV, Stream+ and the Bon Victoriage YouTube, we are hosting a community screening of the first episode, "A Place at the Table," part of the TELUS STORYHIVE Video Podcast program, which will bring together members of the broader community of adults living with physical and intellectual disabilities, swimmers and other athletes, as well as members of Victoria's punk community for a live concert, DJ set, and community screening.
The episode takes us around the city with special guests Susan Simmons (known for swimming the Strait of Juan de Fuca while living with MS: msathlete.org), members of the Spirit Orcas (Canada’s only inclusive Masters “para” swim club: spiritorcas.ca), and "Blind" Marc Hlady (a legendary unsighted punk rock musician) with Isolated Earthlings: blindmarc.bandcamp.com/).
