Meet The Speaker

Maddy Fry is a freelance journalist with over a decade of experience, specialising in writing about the places and spaces where religion, politics and history interact, with bylines in the Guardian, the Telegraph, the New Statesman, Time and the Huffington Post and appearances on Sky News, LBC and Radio France International. 

She also moonlights as an editor and ghostwriter, as well as a screenplay analyst for various American film festivals. She was raised by two people who had sensible jobs in finance, giving her a zeal for passing on money-related life hacks to anyone who is self-employed. 

Types Of Ticket

Don't worry if your plans change though — we will also send you a copy of the recording and any session notes via email. This is normally 24-48 hours after the session to allow time for us to edit the recording.

Watch Back / Recorded: If you just want to watch back, please select a recorded ticket. This allows us to keep a handle on numbers and make sure we have enough seats around our virtual table. Again, no worries if you change your mind, you will still be sent the Zoom link, so no need to let us know.
