The Journo Pitstop: Community Chats With Journo Resources

The way we work has changed a lot. More and more of us working within journalism are freelancers, often working alone in our own spaces. At the same time, colleagues working in-house are also being offered the flexibility to work in ways and places that suit their own lives.
In short, more of us are working remotely than ever before, and finding community in a remote-first existence can be difficult. Which is why Journo Resources is launching the Journo Pitstop, a weekly virtual community chat on Zoom where you can get to know fellow community members face-to-face(ish!) in a relaxed environment. We don't have to chat about work, but it is what we have in common! Leave with connections, conversation, and new friends.
How Does The Journo Pitstop Work?
Our online office is run over Zoom — all you need to join us is a stable Wi-Fi connection, and a device with a microphone and a camera. When you book, you’ll be given details on how to join the call.
We intentionally keep these calls very small, so it’s a comfy, supportive space. One of our team will open and lead the call, and we'll leave plenty of space for conversation to flow naturally.
Plus, if you want to be productive, join our online co-working an hour before between 11am-12pm before we go into the Journo Pitstop over the lunch break!
