Join us for the second workshop in our new 'side hustlers' series, designed to give you an in-depth look at how you can compliment or switch your journalism career successfully. This month, we're thrilled to be joined by Maxine Harrison of Remi Reports, who'll be talking about how to build up a successful blogging platform in 12 months.

Maxine has been a freelancer for two years, with a niche in Black hair, and set up Remi Reports, which helps creatives build their freelance lifestyle, a year ago. In this hour long session, she'll be running through:

• What is blogging and content marketing,
• SEO in relation to blogging,
• Why blogging is popular now and why it's important for your brand,
• Monetising your platform,
• Dealing with the analytics and keyword research in blogging.

There will also be a chance to ask Maxine questions as part of a live Q&A. A copy of the recording will also be sent to all participants – we only ask if you'll make it live to ensure we have enough space in our Zoom room. All attendees will also receive a resource pack after the event.
