Come to Your Senses ~ Movement + Magic in Southern Italy

Nourish body, mind & spirit in the countryside between the Ionic and Adriatic seas. Join Julianne + Robin for a week of movement in Puglia, Italy. We'll stay in a reclaimed 17th century monastery-turned restored farmhouse, in the land of the magical "trulli" architecture. 

We will engage all the senses, soaking up the beauty of the landscape, and the flavors distinct to the Puglian regional cuisine. Feel the sun on your face, the slower pace, and la dolce vita pulsing through your cells in our daily somatic dance + yoga classes!

October 25 -31, 2025 ~ Enjoy 6 nights/ 7 days on the expansive property located in historic Martina Franca, with fruit trees, private forest and walking trails, pool and spa services and and spectacular movement space converted from an old stone barn.  We will practice daily movement, mindfulness, engage in self-exploration through writing and the expressive arts. We will take excursions to explore the coastal landscape and local culture. 

There will be ample time for swimming in the pool overlooking the countryside, relaxing in one of the many nooks or outdoor spaces, dining al fresco, and soaking up the culture and beauty of Italy, with a fabulous community of movers!

Your retreat facilitators have a combined 50+ years of leading somatic movement, backgrounds in the arts and therapeutic processes. Robin Shaw is a highly trained body worker and yoga teacher, a life coach, dancer. Julianne Corey is a Nia blackbelt and former Nia trainer, writer, dancer and Expressive Arts Therapist. Payment Schedules:

• Payment Plan option:
  • Submit your $700 Deposit to reserve your spot (Deposits are non-refundable)
  • $1200 due by 5/1/25
  • Remaining balance due by 8/15/25 (balance is determined by the selected room-type)
• Full payment option:
  • Provide full payment at the time of reservation (of which $700 is nonrefundable, equivalent to deposit - refer to cancellation policy)

Cancellation Policy:

• $700 non-refundable deposit reserves your spot. A next payment of $1200 is due by May 1, 2025. Remaining balance/fees are due no later than August 15, 2025. You may also choose a Full Payment option at the time of your reservation, of which $700 is nonrefundable.
• If you cancel your reservation before August 15 2025: you will be refunded fees minus your non-refundable deposit.
• If you cancel your reservation after August 15, 2025: all fees are non-refundable, unless your space can be filled by someone else.
