ChoiceFest

Juneau Pro-Choice Coalition is excited to invite you to the inaugural ChoiceFest, bringing you spectacular short films by, for, and about women!  Doors open at 5:30pm Friday, January 19, 2024 at Centennial Hall.  With LUNAFEST no longer available (see below), JPCC has teamed up with the nonprofit organization Women Make Movies to curate a special five-film offering for the Juneau community.  An inspiring speaker and a tantalizing array of silent auction items round out the evening. 

We look forward to seeing you and, as always, appreciate your support.  This is typically our biggest fundraiser and enables us to pursue our mission educating the community about reproductive health and protecting and promoting access to safe and legal reproductive care.  At this event, we're fundraising specifically for our Political Action Committee (PAC).  So, in purchasing a ticket and supporting the silent auction you'll be asked for more information that we'll only use for APOC reporting.

What hasn't changed

• Excellent films made by women!

• The momentum from 2023's record-breaking Lunafest.

What else is new?

• A dessert auction ending at the beginning of intermission, so you can enjoy your treats with friends!
• Popcorn & non-alcoholic drinks - bring some cash for that!
  

Why change LUNAFEST to ChoiceFest?

ClifBar, which owns LunaBars and has sponsored LUNAFEST across North America since 2001, paused LUNAFEST while they evaluate the future. While we wee disappointed to hear this news, after Juneau’s best LUNAFEST yet in 2023, our tireless board swung into action to find another way to bring impactful films by, for, and about women to our community. We deeply appreciate your continued support.
