Medicine of Rume (Hapè)

Sacred Tobacco from the rainforest, used within the tradition of the Yawanawá people, is mixed with burned ashes in the ancestral way of preparation. The ashes come from the bark of the Tsunu tree. Rapé—called Rume in the Yawanawá language—has countless uses. It is both a medicine and a spirit, a powerful ally that must be honored and respected. Rume supports many purposes: it helps cleanse and activate the pineal gland, reconnecting one to inner guidance; it clears energies that do not belong to the body, protecting the personal energetic field. It is recommended to work with Rume with clear and precise intention, as it can open doors to growth, healing, and grounding while also freeing the channel upwards. It is a powerful tool for releasing obstacles and clarifying the path. During the Sacred Circle, there is a dedicated moment to open to this solemn masculine ally of the journey—a moment when processes are ready to be purged. Further guidance and explanation will be shared on the night of the Sacred Circle.
