Fundraising Noke Kuin Hapé Circle and Concert with Panã and Memy Kamãnawa at Shoreditch &Soul, The Sanctuary.
It’s with so much joy and gratitude that we are able to announce that we will once again be welcoming Panã and Memy Kamãnawa of the Noke Kuin people back to the UK to share their prayers, culture and healing with our community at Shoreditch &Soul, Sanctuary on 9th April 2026.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of music, dance, and healing with Panã and Memy. The concert will be a celebration of Noke Kuin music and an opportunity to hear the prayers and messages from the forest. Ancient ancestral acapella chants will open the night, followed by chants accompanied by instruments that will have us all dancing, as we collectively connect to the powerful force of this ancient culture and the spirit of the of Amazonian forest.
For those that wish to receive, there will also be the opportunity to receive the medicine of Hapé.
Hapé is a medicine made from the tobacco plant and the ash of sacred trees, used by the Noke Kuin for thousands of years. It is blown into the nostrils through a pipe called a tepi. Participants can choose to receive Hapé once, multiple times, or simply be present in the sacred space.
Through these chants and medicines, we will experience the profound connection between body, mind, and spirit. Panã and Memy will lead us in ancient Noke Kuin songs and the evening will be filled with the force and healing that are at the core of Noke Kuin culture.

❖ About the Noke Kuin
The Noke Kuin or Noke Koi are an indigenous people from the the Pano linguistic family living in the state of Acre in the Brazilian Amazon. Divided in the six clans, they are among the few indigenous peoples of the Brazilian Amazon whose entire population still speaks their native language - Noke Vana.
This reflects their remarkable ability to preserve their ancestral traditions and strengthen their cultural identity. Through their rituals, medicinal knowledge and spiritual connection to the forest, the Noke Kuin play a vital role in the preservation of the Amazon and its traditional ways of life.
