2025 George Jonas Freedom Award Dinner - Toronto

The Justice Centre is pleased to announce that the 2025 recipient of the George Jonas Freedom Award is Dr. Frances Widdowson, a stalwart defender of free expression and academic freedom.  Canada needs more academics within our institutions of higher learning like Dr. Widdowson who bravely stands up to mob rule to protect freedom of expression for future generations.

John Carpay will be available at the dinner to sign his best-selling book Corrupted by Fear. Unfortunately, we are not able to transport large numbers of books to the dinner. You will be issued a tax receipt in 2026 for a portion of your ticket price that will be a donation to the Justice Centre.
