2026 Vancouver George Jonas Freedom Award Reception

The Justice Centre is excited to announce that Candice Malcolm is the 2026 recipient of the George Jonas Freedom Award! Journalist, author, media entrepreneur, and mother of four, Candice is a leading voice in Canadian independent media. Founder of True North and Co-Founder of Juno News, Candice Malcolm fearlessly defends free speech, champions independent media, and challenges government abuses of power.

Connect with Candice Malcolm and Justice Centre President John Carpay at this evening reception alongside other freedom-loving Canadians. Enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres and drinks at a scenic downtown location to be revealed to ticket holders.

Rather than a formal dinner and extended ceremony, this year's event will be an elegant reception featuring a concise award presentation, meaningful remarks, and ample time for conversation and connection. Guests will enjoy a refined meet-and-greet atmosphere with opportunities to mingle, build relationships, and engage directly with Candice Malcolm and the Justice Centre team.
