Pathways to Peace: Israeli Voices for Peace: Professor Haim Bresheeth and Dr Magen Inon
Need help?
In the Pathways to Peace events, we try to look not just at the present but also at the way forward towards an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
For the third event in the series we have invited two UK-based Israeli Jewish speakers with differing perspectives on the way ahead to share their visions of how the current war can be ended and what steps are needed to reach a long term peaceful outcome.
Speakers
Professor (Emeritus) Haim Bresheeth is the child of Holocaust survivors and is the author, inter alia, of ‘An army like no other’, about the IDF
He is a supporter of the One Democratic State campaign, a founder of the Jewish Network for Palestine, and a convenor of the Convivencia Project.
Dr Magen Inon is a teacher whose parents were killed in the Hamas attack of 7 October 2023.
Since then, he has become a leading voice for peace between Israelis and Palestinians, and is part of the team at Yachad whose primary mission is to empower British Jews to support a political resolution to the Israeli Palestinian conflict.
Doors will open at 6.40 and we are aiming for a prompt start at 7pm. If you book to join by Zoom, you will be sent the link to do so on the day before the event.
