Settler violence in the West Bank is driving Palestinians from the villages where they’ve lived for generations. This phenomenon isn’t new but it’s accelerating. Come to hear about one village, Yanoun, in the northern West Bank which was emptied at the end of last year. Yanoun is the 45th Palestinian community to be forcibly displaced in the West Bank since October 2023.

Ann Farr is a peace campaigner based in Coventry  who knows Yanoun well. In 2004 she was part of a Pax Christi England and Wales delegation to the West Bank, and Bethlehem in particular. This exposure has led to many more solidarity visits to the West Bank, developing strong friendship links.

In 2010, Ann became an Ecumenical Accompanier in Palestine and Israel and was based for three months in Yanoun, a village near Nablus which experienced constant harassment from Israeli Settlers.   Her most recent visit to the Occupied West Bank was in November 2025.

The modest ticket price will cover the costs of the meeting with any surplus going to the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI).

There are 12 parking places at the venue. Street parking is free but scarce - please allow extra time.  Doors will open at 6.40pm with tea and coffees available.
