Need help?
We have been receiving increasing reports from workers through The Brighton and Hove Frontline Network that there is a rising number of asylum seekers, refugees, and vulnerable migrants who are experiencing homelessness in our city.
As such, in collaboration with Refugee Radio and Voices in Exile, we are hosting an in person event to explore support for asylum seekers, refugees, and vulnerable migrants; it will address housing options and pathways and available support services
We invite anyone who supports asylum seekers, refugees, and vulnerable migrants with housing challenges to attend. Our goal is to create a collaborative, inclusive space where we can connect, share knowledge, and learn from one another - we hope to strengthen ties between the homeless support sector and vulnerable migrant support sector to improve practice across the city.
Topics covered:
- Defining Asylum Seekers, Refugees and Migrants
- Housing pathways and options
