On this special weekend course, Gen Nyingpo will grant the blessing empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni, and give commentary to Prayers for Meditation. Prayers for Meditation contains the essential practices of purification, accumulating merit, and receiving blessings, which prepare and strengthen the mind enabling the seeds of enlightenment to grow into authentic spiritual realizations.

What is an Empowerment:

An Empowerment is a guided tantric meditation that harnesses wisdom, imagination and the power of enlightened beings to take us to pure worlds and pure experiences. It bestows upon us special blessings that heal our mental continuum and awaken our Buddha nature. 

The enlightened mind can be compared to a vast, boundless ocean, with each drop possessing the power to bring peace and happiness to living beings. Receiving an Empowerment creates a profound connection with this limitless potential that already exists within our own mind. By establishing this connection, we receive the inspiration, energy, and wisdom needed to begin uncovering and realising our own enlightened nature.
