1 day IOSH Safety & Health Management in Education Refresher - Wigton

Aims and Objectives

This 1 day refresher course from 9.00am to 4.00pm aims to provide candidates with refreshed knowledge in areas of safety and health of particular importance to the safe running of an education setting, to enable candidates to continue to manage and review safety and health systems in their own workplace.

Please note: Delegates must have previously completed the KAHSC 2 day IOSH Safety & Health Management in Education course or a sufficiently similar Education specific course covering the same content which was also approved by IOSH.

Course overview

By completing this course candidates will be able to:

• Identify reasons for managing safely in an education setting.
• Explain the difference between accountability and responsibility.
• Identify the steps to be taken in the process of completing a risk assessment.
• Prioritise risk control steps using the hierarchy of risk.
• Identify the steps involved in a safety and health management system.

KAHSC subscribers - £170 + VAT

Non-Subscribers - £195 + VAT

• All course materials, refreshments and lunches are included in the costs.
• The Course Provider is KAHSC. Your Trainer will be Gordon Hastings of KAHSC.
