Statutory DfE guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ lists the mandatory pre-appointment checks that must be carried out when appointing individuals to roles with educational settings. Details of the checks carried out must be recorded on a Single Central Record which Ofsted will scrutinise when inspecting.

This webinar delivered by Kym Allan will look at KAHSC Single Central Record and aim to help clarify exactly what you must be recording. This will include any potential changes that may comes from KCSIE 2026.

Education settings - Head Teachers and others whose role it is to regularly monitor the SCR, Business Managers, Administrators and similar job roles.
