Safer Recruitment - Wigton
This training is being held in the Wigton/North Cumbria area.
Governing bodies have a statutory duty to prevent those who pose a risk of harm from working with children by taking appropriate decisions during the recruitment process.
In order to comply with The School Staffing Regulations and statutory DfE guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ Governing Bodies of Maintained Schools must ensure that at least one person on any appointment panel has undertaken Safer Recruitment training.
*This requirement is considered good practice for Academies and Independent Schools.
