Health & Safety Essentials for Governors in Educational Settings - Zoom

This 2 hour session for school governors is a good introduction to health, safety and welfare requirements in educational settings.

3pm - 5pm via Zoom.

Course Aims & Content

The aim of this training is to ensure that delegates have an understanding of:

• Who is responsible for Health & Safety in Educational settings;
• What health & safety legislation affects your setting and how;
• Effective management of health and safety issues particular to educational settings;
• Effective Governor Monitoring;
• The very latest DfE policy guidance, recommended documentation and the latest government regulations and how they affect your setting.

This course should be attended by new Governors, those newly appointed to the Health and Safety role or existing Governors who require a refresher.
