Implementing the 10 Year Health Plan: what needs to happen when?

CHANGE IS A CONSTANT in health and care. So said someone in 1682. Probably. It's certainly true now, as attested by the 80,000 words in the 10 Year Health Plan. Over 1,200 of those are the phrase "we will", ranging from the humdrum "we will explore a new mechanism for the NHS to access low risk pension capital." to the visible from space "we will reinvent the NHS".

"We will". So easy to write. But - as many have pointed out since the plan's publication - rather tricky to do in practice. Making change that works is the core of what we do at Kaleidoscope. So much so we have published a little guide on implementing the 10 Year Health Plan full of the steps which can't be missed if the "we wills" are to become "we dids".

You may already have the book, you may have joined the webinar, you can now also come to an in-person 10 Year Health Plan event (although we'll draw the line at the t-shirt).

There will be a panel of superstar speakers, including:

We will be sharing what we heard through the plan's extensive staff engagement, and have an emphasis on peer-to-peer learning.
