Kana Kernow SINGING WORKSHOP and CONCERT with ROLLING HARMONY

Having collaborated with Choir Leader, Composer and Songways Director Jane Harris over several years ... I am delighted, via Kana Kernow, to be able to invite Jane's stunning 9-piece vocal group Rolling Harmony down to West Cornwall for the 1st time this June for a workshop and concert. 

Rolling Harmony - “An exquisite blend of voices and rich harmonies" - is a vibrant vocal group of choir leaders and singers, they delight audiences with their lively and eclectic performances. Rolling Harmony are becoming known for their gorgeous vocal arrangements rooted in English and American harmony singing traditions. Expect songs with captivating rhythms, compelling lyrics and interweaving vocal lines. A rich blend of voices with violin and guitar instrumentals on some songs. Comments from concert audiences:

Rolling Harmony singing workshops - “Absolutely fantastic! Skilled tutors, beautiful music and such fun” - are led jointly by choir leaders Jane Harris, Clara Atkins & Claire Stronach with Rolling Harmony singers supporting each part. Their workshops are known for their fun, variety, challenge and give singers confidence to create satisfying harmonies. They are hugely enjoyable and appeal to a wide range of singers. Comments from previous workshop participants:

For this event on Saturday 8th June 2024, there will be a workshop (with all Rolling Harmony singers present) from 10.00am - 1.00pm (with a brief BYO coffee break), and a full length concert at 7.30pm (with informal interval bar in aid of St Petroc's work to end homelessness in Cornwall). It is possible to book for either or both:

• A combined ticket for workshop and concert (£32)
• A ticket for just the workshop (£24)
• A ticket for just the concert (£12)
• There are a limited number of half-price bursary places for all of the above (1st come, 1st served)
• Free Under 18 concert tickets (NB under 18s must be accompanied by an adult
  

Kana Kernow (Singing Cornwall) workshops are relaxed and friendly - all singers are welcome whether or not they sing in a choir or read music. 

Marazion Community Centre has plenty of parking and good access.

Kana Kernow (Singing Cornwall) - set up by local singing leader Pip Wright - has been inviting excellent singing leaders to West Cornwall since 2013 so we can enjoy exciting, top quality and diverse singing workshops without having to travel 'up the line'.

• Tickets are non-refundable*. If you are unable to attend you are welcome to pass your ticket on to someone else.
• *If the event cannot take place due to Covid or other circumstances, it will be postponed and your ticket will be valid for the future date. In that situation, if you are unable to make the future date you will be offered a refund.
