CORE-Us: Singing Workshops in the beautiful CORE with Pip Wright, 2025 - 2026

CORE-Us is an invitation to connect with ourselves, with each other, with nature and the seasons at the monthly Sunday afternoon singing workshops in the stunning CORE building at St Ives Community Orchard.

Local singing leader Pip Wright weaves singers into beautiful unaccompanied harmonies in no time. Songs are mostly taught by ear (with lyrics sheets available for those who wish) – no need to read music.

CORE-Us workshops are an opportunity to raise your voice and raise your spirits in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. All voices welcome – low voices, high voices, bold voices, shy voices, ‘haven’t sung for years’ or ‘no idea what I am’ voices.

We welcome people dropping in for one session, as well as those who would like to sing regularly - gradually growing a singing community in this precious community space. Comments from previous singing workshops with Pip in the CORE

CORE-Us afternoons include a break – with time to meet fellow singers or visit the orchard. Hot drinks are available from the ‘St Ives Community Orchard’ kitchen (donations welcome).

There is a tiered pricing system (£5/£10/£15) to keep CORE-Us as accessible as possible – you are welcome to pay what you can afford.
