The Core Components of Launching a Venture

The Core Components of Launching a Venture
is a 90-minute interactive workshop that gives Illinois Tech students a hands-on, practical introduction to entrepreneurship. Students work through a guided worksheet to translate an idea into a clear, testable venture concept while exploring key elements such as founder readiness, problem identification, opportunity sizing, solution and MVP design, go-to-market strategy, revenue basics, and success metrics. By the end of the session, students leave with a completed venture snapshot they can immediately apply to a startup idea, academic project, or future entrepreneurial path. Bring your laptops to this session!!
