Time to come together for a night of Conscious Roots Reggae and Dub music, on the heavyweight, hand-crafted Mighty Oak Soundsystem from Edinburgh. In a rare event, they will be bringing the full 6-scoop sound for the full experience!

We are raising tribute to the mighty Bob Marley for his works, his spirit and for bringing reggae music to the world. 

With a solid session from 7pm to midnight, we will be playing a special roots selection of rockers and classics, up to spiritual steppers and dubplates, as well as Mighty Oak's own productions. Of course, there will be a selection of deep Bob Marley cuts played too!

And there's more! From Inverness, Kool Runnings Jamaican restautrant will be on hand with some tasty plant-based Jamaican street food, available for purchase from 7-9pm! Make sure you get down early to sample the real deal! 

Mighty Oak are a roots and dub reggae sound system and record label, based in Scotland. They've made a name for themselves as a sound system with a warm clear sound and beautiful looks, and as a record label releasing tunes played out by the likes of Jah Shaka, Channel One and Manasseh.

Key to the spirit of Mighty Oak are consciousness, equality, unity, respect for nature, and self-knowledge. These are all principles frequently explored in roots-reggae music, for the upliftment of the people in the dance, regardless of faith or background.
