Solstice Creative Sanctuary
A restorative morning of nature connection, creativity and conscious rest
10.15am - 1.15pm, 20 June 2026
£39/£28.50
As the year's longest day, the summer solstice is a threshold moment. At this turning point, this is an invitation to pause, soften and drink in the light, the possibility and all the abundance of life all around us.
Solstice Creative Sanctuary is an in-person morning workshop for anyone who wants to mark this time with intention and grace - arriving more fully into themselves and into the present moment.
This is a space to breathe, to create, to rest, and to connect with what matters to you. It is a soft landing in the middle of the year.
Together, we'll co-create a grounded, nourishing space where you can:
- Arrive and settle
- Enjoy gentle nature connection
- Journey through a guided meditation to receive the wisdom of the solstice
- Explore what is alive in you through gentle, playful creativity (no artistic experience or expertise necessary)
- Rest deeply with Econidra - a restorative practice of conscious rest and inner stillness
- Journal, reflect, and share within a warm, supportive circle
Optional Cup of Ceremonial Cacao to warm and open the heart, and deepen your connection to the day
This is a morning for those who want to feel held by the season - not just be buffeted through the fiery celebrations our town does so well. Think of it as a nourishing moment of calm before the storm of Golowen celebrations!
Here, we'll slow down enough to actually receive what this luminous, pivotal time might have to offer.
You'll leave with:
- A sense of restoration and spaciousness
- A small piece of creative work that that reminds you of a nature connection (the creative process though is far more important than the outcome!)
- A felt sense of the solstice: its light, its generosity, and its blessing
- A deeper connection to nature's rhythms - and your own
With creativity, rest, and deeply nourishing practices, Solstice Creative Sanctuary offers a beautiful way to honour the midpoint of your year.

PAST PARTICIPANTS OF KARI’S WORKSHOPS HAVE SAID:
"It was such a beautiful safe and nurturing space, something I have needed for a while...I will be taking lots of things with me, I think most of all the peaceful feeling I felt afterwards... Kari just knows how to pick up on what people need and time was given to express without being rushed and held in a safe space. Everything seems to have changed for me since somehow. I feel some calmness and peace that I have not felt in quite a long time." Cindy
"I absolutely loved the workshop .... I found Saturday’s gathering of great comfort and safety, surrounded by love. I’m so grateful I came to the workshop and met you all. What a wonderful group of people. Thank you so much for providing such a special moment." Daniela

Your Guide - Kari Herbert
Hello, I’m Kari.
I’m an author and artist, an accredited mindfulness teacher and rest coach, an EFT and Reiki practitioner, an essential oil guide, and a mum.
At the heart of my work is a deep belief in creating safe, nourishing spaces — spaces where we can slow down, breathe, and gently reconnect with ourselves. I work with thoughtful creators, soulful visionaries, empaths and heart-led leaders — some building or running businesses, others simply exploring what’s next — all seeking a more intentional, aligned way to live and create.
My work is less about fixing or pushing, and more about listening, remembering, and creating. When we feel safe, rested, and truly heard, it becomes easier to trust what feels right for us — and to move towards a life that feels spacious, aligned, and free.
From that place, we begin to create more, we begin to understand what truly nourishes us, we begin to honour our needs and desires as valid and worthy, and we begin to remember who we really are.
This workshop (more like a mini retreat) is an invitation to reconnect with your inner knowing and embody your light.
Welcome home.
