Thursdays, June 18 - Aug 20  | 9:30am - 12:30pm PDT.

This experiential workshop explores the wide range of therapeutic qualities found in various art media and materials. Participants directly engage with commonly used therapeutic materials, including paint, collage, clay, fabric, natural and found materials. The workshop focuses on developing self-expression and self-reflexivity through art, writing, and group discussions. It also introduces basic relational skills necessary in a therapeutic arts training studio.

The instructor provides articles, book chapters, and a list of required art materials that participants need to purchase.

This workshop can be used towards the 30-hour admission requirement for enrollment in the online hybrid delivery of the Kutenai Art Therapy Institute diploma program.
