This is an intensive weekend of advanced long form training looking at building worlds and playing inside them. These could be fantasy, science fiction or your local coffee shop. What is joyful for you, your scene partner and your audience? How can we create exciting and moving theatre with form, scene work and ensemble?
Katy's style is experimental and experiential. That means we'll be trying lots of different techniques and seeing what works for this group on this weekend. You'll be working on personal advancement as an improviser as well as connecting and playing as an ensemble. Katy will offer you notes in a positive and held space, encouraging different styles over homogeneity.
This workshop is limited to 14 participants.
Who is this for?
This intensive is for long form improvisers. If you feel confident in playing unstructured scenes and editing and you have experience in playing longer shows with structured or discovered form, this is for you. If you are still unsure, contact katy@katyschutte.co.uk to discuss. There is no shame in asking!
