Paper Cutting Workshop

PAPER CUTTING WITH @STEVEXOH
Saturday 28th March 2026 1pm-3pm
Studio Two
Koppel Kingston
29 Thames Street
Kingston-upon-Thames KT1 1PH
This two hour workshop with @stevexoh invites you to play with paper cutting and ideas of negative space, imperfection and seeing the world through an inverted lens - noticing the wonderful emptiness created by shapes.
You need no previous experience and experienced paper cutters are also welcome to immerse themselves in this almost meditative practice. Children are welcome but please note that the workshop involves using sharp scalpels to cut and remove paper. Parents are responsible for supervising their children and, if preferable, scissors are available as an alternative.
We will mainly work in the studio space but will venture out briefly to take inspiration from the sights, sounds and smells of Kingston-upon-Thames to help us imagine our final piece.
All materials are provided and you will get to take your final piece home with you.
TICKETS
Over 16: £20
Under 16: £10
Concession/low income: £10 (Only 3 of these tickets available)
Full joining instructions will be sent to you on the week of the workshop but if you have any questions then contact stevexoh@gmail.com
PLEASE NOTE: As Koppel Kingston is a pop-up space the lift has been decommissioned so unfortunately this means that Studio Two (on the first floor) is not wheelchair accessible. There are four flights of stairs (36 steps) with a handrail on both sides to get to Studio Two.
