Introduction to Narrative CV Writing Workshop (in person)

This workshop will help you begin to construct an effective narrative CV for use in your future grant and job applications.

A narrative CV differs from a traditional CV by providing more opportunity to look beyond traditional research metrics and start to capture a holistic view of researcher's contributions to their research communities and wider society. This is part of a wider effort by research funders to create a more inclusive and positive research culture. Most major funders are now introducing narrative CVs (or parts of them) into their grant awarding processes and some universities are adopting these into job and promotion application processes.

In this session we will explore the basic structure of the narrative CV and how to construct a CV that best highlights the importance of your work and your contributions to your research field.
