The summer solstice marks the beginning of summer as the longest day and shortest night of the year. It occurs when Earth’s tilt toward the sun is at its maximum, causing the sun to reach its highest point in the sky.

Lankford’s layered tones and resonant vibrations invite deep listening and inner quiet as Turrell’s signature light sequence gently transforms the sunset sky above. This performance is a rare opportunity to encounter sound, light, and presence in perfect harmony—a contemplative space for rest, reflection, and renewal. Dress comfortably, bring a blanket and/or pillow, and leave the busy world outside while you treat yourself to a full sensory experience.

In the event of rain, the roof will not be opened, and Turrell's beautiful closed-dome light sequence will run during the sound bath. There is ample public parking nearby. We are located at the Clearfork Trailhead, right by Press Cafe.
